광복 80주년을 기념하며, 태극기의 중심에 자리한 태극(太極)’을 무한’의 상징으로 다시 그려봅니다. 숫자 8을 옆으로 돌리면 끊어지지 않는 곡선, 곧 무한대(∞)의 형태가 됩니다. 이 단순한 회전은 시간의 방향을 바꾸고 과거와 미래를 이어주는 상징적 움직임이 됩니다. ‘태극’은 음과 양의 조화이자, 끝없이 순환하며 공존하는 우주의 원리입니다. 그 철학을 따라, 태극의 중심을 ‘무한’이라는 새로운 시선으로 확장하고자 합니다. 과거와 미래, 기억과 가능성을 연결하는 하나의 깃발로서 기능합니다.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of national liberation, the Taegeuk the symbol at the heart of the Taegukgi is reimagined as a sign of infinity.

When the number 8 is turned sideways, it becomes a continuous curve: the infinity symbol (∞).

This simple rotation shifts the flow of time, becoming a symbolic gesture that links past and future.

Taegeuk represents the harmony of yin and yang, the core principle of a universe in constant circulation and coexistence.

Embracing this philosophy, I reinterpret the center of the Taegeuk through the lens of infinity as a flag that connects memory and possibility, the past and what lies ahead.
