전통적인 태극기의 구성 요소(태극 문양, 건곤감리)를 그래픽 언어로 추상화해 반복적이고 파동적인 패턴으로 변형했습니다. 고정된 상징에서 벗어나 ‘운동성’과 ‘확산성’을 지닌 하나의 시각적 리듬으로 해석하였습니다. 광복 80주년이라는 역사적 전환점에서, 의미 또한 정지된 기호가 아닌 살아있는 움직임임을 암시합니다. 이처럼 태극기는 끊임없이 진동하고, 반복되고, 증식되는 한국인의 정체성입니다.

This work abstracts the traditional elements of the Taegukgi such as the Taegeuk symbol and the four trigrams into a visual language of repetitive, wave-like patterns.

Moving beyond fixed symbolism, it reinterprets the flag as a visual rhythm imbued with motion and expansiveness.

At this historic milestone marking the 80th anniversary of liberation, the Taegukgi’s meaning is presented not as a static sign, but as a living movement.

In this way, the flag becomes a constantly vibrating, repeating, and multiplying embodiment of Korean identity.
