태극기 속 건곤감리는 하늘과 땅, 물과 불을 상징합니다. 태극문양 또한 음양의 조화를 상징하고 있습니다.

하지만 지금의 우리는, 그 기호들을 일상에서 체감하지 못한 채 살아갑니다.

이 작업은 각 괘의 의미를 우리의 감정과 기억, 풍경의 언어로 다시 써보는 시도입니다.

멀게 느껴졌던 상징이, 문장이 되었을 때 비로소 나의 것이 될 수 있기를 바라며.

On the 80th anniversary of Liberation, how much do we truly feel the national flag as our own?

The four trigrams on the Taegukgi symbolize heaven, earth, water, and fire. The Taegeuk itself represents the harmony of yin and yang.

Yet in our everyday lives, these symbols often feel distant and abstract.

This work reinterprets the meanings of each trigram through the language of our own emotions, memories, and landscapes.

It is an attempt to rewrite these symbols so that, as they become sentences, they may finally become ours.
