그 억압에서 마침내 벗어난 순간을 시각적으로 담아내고자 했습니다. 태극기의 일부는 가려지고 형태가 변화했지만, 그 안에 담긴 본질은 여전히

그대로임을 표현하고자 했습니다. 이는 외형이 달라졌더라도, 결국 우리의 정체성과 정신은 잃지 않았고,

끝내 되찾았다는 의미를 담고 있습니다. 이러한 구성을 통해 해방의 기쁨을 넘어,

우리 민족이 다시 찾은 나라와 그 회복의 의미를 조용히 되새기고자 했습니다.

This work visualizes the contrast between our people under oppression during Japanese colonial rule and the moment of liberation on August 15, 1945.

Parts of the Taegukgi are obscured and altered in form, yet its essence remains intact symbolizing that despite external changes, our identity and spirit were never lost, and ultimately reclaimed.

Beyond the joy of liberation, the piece quietly reflects on the significance of regaining our nation and the enduring meaning of restoration.
