광복 80주년을 맞이해 개인이 선택할 수 있었던 가장 조용하지만, 단단한 저항의 상징으로서 먹물에 찍은

주먹 쥔 손을 사용해 태극 문양을 그렸습니다.

주먹은 존엄을 지키기 위한 표현 수단이며, 연대하고 투쟁하며 저항하고 기록해 온 작은 손들의 흔적입니다.

주먹은 말없이 외치고, 침묵 속에서 함께했으며, 그 흔적 위에 우리는 역사를 써 내려왔습니다.

그 손으로 태극 문양을 그리고 태극기를 완성해 펼침으로써 묵으로 만든 광복의 의미를 되새기길 바랍니다.

To mark the 80th anniversary of Liberation, this work reimagines the Taegeuk symbol using an ink-stamped clenched fist one of the quietest, yet most resolute forms of personal resistance.

The fist stands for dignity, for the hands that resisted, united, fought, and recorded. It shouted without sound, stood in silence, and carved history through its presence.

By drawing the Taegeuk with this fist and unfolding it as a flag, the work invites reflection on the meaning of liberation etched in black ink, carried by countless hands.
