“Forever Blooming” is an illustration that reinterprets the Taegeukgi by harmoniously incorporating Korea’s national flower, the mugunghwa, and traditional patterns. Created to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation, the piece visually conveys Korea’s history and identity. The mugunghwa a flower that “blooms endlessly and never withers” symbolizes enduring spirit and hope, resonating deeply with the theme of this exhibition. Traditional patterns have been reimagined with a modern sensibility, serving as a bridge between the past and the present.
