조선 문왕의 태극팔괘도를 출발점으로 태극기의 중심 요소인 태극과 팔, 그리고 철학적 기원인 낙서(洛書)를 바탕으로 재구성하였습니다. 중앙의 태극 문양은 역사 속 다양한 형태의 태극을 조합해 구성되며, 그 주위를 회전하는 팔괘는 흐름을 이야기합니다. 변화하는 움직임을 통해 시각적 재미와 철학적 의미를 동시에 전달하고자 하였습니다.

Based on the Taegeuk Palgwaedo (Eight Trigrams Diagram) of King Mun of Joseon, this work reinterprets the core elements of the Korean flag Taegeuk and the Eight Trigrams along with their philosophical origin in the “Luo Shu” (洛書).

The central Taegeuk symbol is formed by combining various historical versions, while the surrounding rotating trigrams represent the flow of change.

Through this movement, the piece seeks to convey both visual interest and philosophical meaning.
