The sacrificial crow and the echoing drumbeats symbolize the cries of the people breaking free from long-standing oppression, while the river flowing in reverse metaphorically portrays the dramatic upheaval when the course of history was turned. The procession of people, in their silent footsteps, conveys a unified spirit, and the Taegeukgi seeps gently between them through the spreading hues.
